Barbara Magnolia (Cox) Divers

Barbara Magnolia Divers 85, of Ellerslie, Georgia formerly of Pansey, Alabama died Sunday, March 07, 2021 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Grace Baptist Church 2915 14th Ave. Columbus, Georgia 31904 with Rev. Seth Hon and Rev. Billie Dickerson officiating. Interment will be held 3:00 PM (EST.) Wednesday, March 10th 2021 at Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery, Avon, Alabama.

Mrs. Divers was born January 21, 1936 in Gadsden, Alabama daughter of the late Furman Augustus and Elma Magnolia Cox. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and fishing. Mrs. Divers was a member of First Baptist Church of Gordon, Al. and also enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She loved canning foods and hosting family gatherings with her husband Ellas.

Other than her parents, Mrs. Divers was preceded in death by her husband Ellas Dillon Divers, three brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include her son, Michael R. Miller and his wife Diana of Ellerslie, Georgia, her daughter, Debra K. Butler and her husband Bobby of Dothan, Alabama, sisters, Norma K. McElroy of Gadsden, Alabama, Elma Rea “Marie” Dunn of Southside, Alabama, grandchildren, Richard Miller (Amy), Russell Miller (Marie) Bryan Miller (Whitney) and 10 great-grandchildren.
