Barbara Ann Bovaird

Barbara Ann Bovaird, 83, of Columbus, GA died Monday, November 30, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, December 3, 2015 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Mr. Craig Harbin officiating. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Bovaird was born September 2, 1932 in Glenn Morgan, West Virginia daughter of the late Glenn and Birdie Campbell Webb. She was a homemaker and a member of Lamb of God Christian Church.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, CW3 (Ret.) John Alexander Bovaird.
Survivors include her sons, David Bovaird (Kathleen) of Midland, GA, Paul Bovaird, Mark Bovaird (Jan) all of Columbus, GA and Steve Bovaird (Lisa) of Thomasville, GA, brothers, Jack Webb of Beckley, WV and Sonny Webb of Baltimore, MD, 7 grandchildren, Kimberly Custance, Charity Day, Amber Brown, Brad Bovaird, Brandy Lynch, Zach Bovaird and Blake Bovaird, and 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association 7167 Mobley Walk Dr. Columbus, GA 31904 or to the Diabetes Association 1340 14th St. Columbus, GA 31901.
