Avanell Carr, 68, of Columbus, GA died Friday, November 29, 2019 at Piedmont Midtown.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, December 2, 2019 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 4500 St. Mary's Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Jerry Speer officiating.
Miss Carr was born January 2, 1951 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Jacob Carr and Annie East Carr. She was a fraud investigator for GA State DFCS and worked at U-Save-It Pharmacy. She was a member of Northside Baptist Church and was dedicated to church functions such as, AWANAS, Vacation Bible School, and her Sunday school class. She loved to watch the HGTV and Judge Judy and watching plays at the Springer Opera House.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Raymond Carr.
Survivors include her sisters, Betty Drake (Mac) of Columbus, GA and Sharon Hutto of Columbus, GA, brother, Norman Adams (Becky) of Hazel Park, MI, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
