Arley "Dean" East, 60, of Phenix City, AL died Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Saturday, June 4, 2016 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Kevin Calhoun officiating. A private family interment will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. East was born September 11, 1955 in Columbus, GA son of George East of Phenix City, AL and the late LaDiera Wood East. He worked as a Computer Technician for Verso Tech. Dean enjoyed going to the YMCA and took great pride in his workout accomplishments. During his lifetime, he refinished many antiques and operated D & S Antiques. He also took great interest in designing jewelry.
Survivors other than his father include his daughter, Alissa Sanes (Jacob), brother, Lyndel East (Debra), grandchild, Kamden Sanes, his former wife and mother of Alissa, Susan East, and his sidekick, "Buttons" aka Booger Dog.
