Arleen Harden, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the age of 85 in Powder Springs, Georgia. Born on December 29, 1939, in Buffalo, New York, Arleen brought joy and laughter to all who knew her.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, April 14, 2025 at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery, 553 AL-165, Fort Mitchell, AL 36856 to celebrate her legacy. The service will be held providing family and friends an opportunity to honor her memory and reflect on the impact she had on their lives, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.

Arleen dedicated her life to her family, leaving behind her cherished children, daughter Lori and sons Will (Debbie) and Wes and four much loved granddaughters. Also left to cherish her memory are her brothers Joe Jr (Donna) and Larry (Bobbi) who will miss her dearly. Arleen's deep friendships enriched her life, notably her lifelong connection with her best friend, Enola. Special thanks to Mike for always "watching out for the place".

Arleen was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bill, who was her partner and companion through every stage of their lives together. Their union was a testament to enduring love, and they created a family rooted in kindness and support. After Bill retired, they enjoyed traveling to casinos where they felt like royalty.

Arleen will be remembered for her playful nature. She loved old sitcoms, especially Leave it to Beaver, I Love Lucy, Laverne and Shirley and Mama's Family. In contrast, her favorite movies were the John Wick series and The Outsiders. You could most often find her relaxing in her recliner with a Diet Pepsi, watching tv or doing her crossword puzzles. She shared her love of the reality show Big Brother with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed talking about it with them whenever she could.

We love you Mama and thank you for making us the strong, independent people that we are. We miss you already.
