Ardelle Marie Hanson, 82, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, April 1, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery with Pastor Rod Stephenson officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Hanson was born August 14, 1929 in Shelton, N.D. and grew up in Leonard, N.D. She was the daughter of the late Arne and Mable Buvick Bratland. She married Melvin M. Hanson on February 16, 1952 in Moorhead, MN. She was a homemaker and a member of Reformation Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband of 60 years, SGM (Ret.) Melvin M. Hanson of Columbus, GA, son, Rick Hanson of Ft. Mitchell, AL, two sisters, Joan Thompson (Frank) of Park Rapids, MN and Janet Conley of Sandpoint, ID, brothers, Duane Bratland (Lila) of Circle, MT and Arne Bratland (Marlene) of Enderlin, N.D., and numerous nieces and nephews.
