Anthony “Ant” Jerome McNeill, 53, of Columbus, GA passed on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 at Piedmont Midtown.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, September 23, 2024 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 PM, Sunday, September 22 at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. An interment will follow services at Southview Cemetery, ID 63-1033, US-19 Thomaston, GA 30286.
Ant was born Friday, November 6, 1970 in Thomaston, GA to Emma Matthew and Robert Spencer McNeill, Sr. He furthered his education and graduated trade school with an Associate’s Degree. Ant enjoyed relaxing and watching old westerns. He kept up to date with current events by playing the News Channel.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Emma Matthew of Midland, GA; step sisters, Jacqueline (Jermanze) of Buena Vista, GA, Shamminkea Matthew of Kathleen, TX, Tina M. Burrell of Baltimore, MD, step brothers, Cornelius Matthew and Thur Jones of Baltimore, MD, Aunt Bertha Prater and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
