Anthony Odell Webb, 79, of Waverly Hall, GA died Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Abbeville Health and Rehab in Abbeville, GA.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, March 14, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Wilhite officiating. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Webb was born May 1, 1933 in Columbia, AL son of the late Audrey Odell Webb and Beatrice Coker Webb. He was a general contractor for over 40 years as owner of Tony Webb Construction Company. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and the Quitman Kirby Sunday School Class. He was also a member of the General Contractor Association of America.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret L. Webb and sister, Ramona Carter.
Survivors include his daughters, Teresa Milam (Danny) of Columbus, GA and Donna Webb (Pat Broadwell) of Atlantic Beach, FL, son, Mark Webb (Debra) of Waverly Hall, GA, sister, Janie Sammons (Ronnie) of Soperton, GA, sister-in-law, Charlotte Bellantoni (Pat) of Atlanta, GA, brother-in-law, Bobby Nobles (Doris) of Salem, AL, grandchildren, Paul and Georgina Milam, Ben and Nora Milam, Tara and Jonathan Aseron, Jacqueline and Jack Weatherington, Corey Hardaker, Adam Hardaker, Kathleen Godfrey, Patrick Godfrey, Stephanie and Brian Silverstein, Ronnie Webb and Jeremy Webb, six great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make memorial contributions to Calvary Baptist Church 7556 Old Moon Rd. Columbus, GA 31909.
