Anthony "Ant" James Shamburger, 35 of Columbus died Friday, April 29, 2011 at his home.
Graveside services will be held 4 P.M., Monday, May 2, 2011 at Parkhill Cemetery with Reverend Tommy Poole officiating, The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4 till 6 P.M. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mr. Shamburger was born December 27, 1975 in Plains, GA. He was raised by his adopted deceased grandparents, Riley Maurice and Martha Stewart Shamburger. He worked in the heating and air business in the Columbus area.
Survivors include his wife, Amanda Crain Shamburger of Columbus, GA; his birth mother, Patsy Wilson Grier of Moultrie, GA; sons, Michael Anthony Shamburger and Adam Anthony Shamburger both of Columbus, GA; brother, Chris Storey (Naoko) of Phenix City, AL; sister, Patricia Barfield of Georgia; father-in-law who raised him, Michael Crain of Columbus, GA; sister-in-law, Michelle Drew (Jerome) of Columbus, GA, nieces, Chami Storey and Madeleine Drew and nephews,Jerome Drew, Jr. and James Cushing, Jr.; other nieces and nephews and a host of family including Aunt Barbara and Webster Scott of Columbus and cousin, Melissa Storey.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to any SunTrust Bank in care of Lavina Drew in Memory of Anthony Shamburger.
