Annie Louise Tyler, 87, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the First Church of God, 6301 Gateway Rd, Columbus, GA 31909 with Rev. Mickey Sikes officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday Evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Tyler was born February 24, 1926 in Juniper, GA and was the daughter to the late Raleigh Weaver and Ruby Pope Weaver. She was a member of the First Church of God in Columbus, GA.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband; Andrew J. Tyler, her daughter; Avis King, and her brother; Edward Weaver.
Survivors include her son; Douglas Andrew Tyler (Barbara) of Columbus, GA, sisters; Nell Owens of Ellaville, GA, Jeanette Icard (Bobby) of Tazewell, GA, Lorraine West of Milledgeville, GA, Beverly Hudson (Steve) of Del Norte, CO, a brother; Harold Weaver (Lynne) of Apison, TN, sister-in-law; Anita Weaver of Forsyth, GA, grandchildren; Janie Sousa of Baltimore, MD, Rhonda Neukam of Otwell, IN, and Robert King, step-grandson; David Turvin, Step-great-granddaughters; Kaylyn Turvin and Denise Turvin.
