Annette Phillips Johnson

Annette Phillips Johnson, 84, of Phenix City, AL died Monday, November 11, 2019 at Columbus Hospice House.
A private family cryptside service will be held at the Chapel of the Pines Mausoleum at Parkhill Cemetery 4161 Macon Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Rev. Brad McDaniel officiating. A public visitation will be held Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Johnson was born March 26, 1935 in Columbus, GA daughter of the late Robert Lee Phillips and Corine Case Phillips. She was a homemaker and a member of Sherwood United Methodist Church. Mrs. Johnson loved to travel which included 18 different countries, cooking and spending time with her family.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Travis Johnson and son, Philip W. Johnson.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna Shepherd (Jay) of Phenix City, AL and Sherri Applewhite (Jeff) of Phenix City, AL, grandchildren, Rainey Applewhite, Alex Applewhite, Erica Wade (Bruce) and Justin Shepherd (Amber), great-grandchildren, Addison Shepherd, Bryce Wade and Brinkley Wade, several nieces and nephews, and special caregiver, Hilda Hubbard.
