Anneliese F. Blackledge, 92, of Columbus, GA died Monday, July 27, 2015 at her residence.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, July 31, 2015 at Covenant Woods 5424 Woodruff Farm Rd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Reverend Grant Parker officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Blackledge was born November 22, 1922 in Ingolstadt, Germany daughter of the late Georg and Walberger Birzl Franz. She was a homemaker.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Houston W. "Blackie" Blackledge.
Survivors include her daughters, Caroline B. "Carol" Griffis (Bill) of Columbus, GA, Robert W. Blackledge (Susan) of Malabar, FL and Wynell King of Columbus, GA, sister, Charlotte Schriener of Inglostadt, Germany, 6 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted but those so desiring may make a memorial contribution to your favorite animal rescue charity.
