Anne Baker Dennis, 83, of Columbus, GA died Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, May 20, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel. A private interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Dennis was born February 1, 1930 in Chattanooga, TN daughter of the late Garnett Robert Baker and Hazel Lee Cook Baker. She retired from Aflac as the Vice President of the Medical Department. She was also the past President and life member of the Muscogee County and Georgia Society of Medical Assistants.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wesley "Jack" Dennis.
Survivors include her daughter, Jacqui Hancock (Dennis) of Mauk, GA, sister, Mary Ellen Baker of Rossville, GA, three grandchildren, John Patrick Hancock, Christopher Hancock both of Columbus, GA and Jeremy Sean Hancock of Albany, GA, and three great grandchildren.
