Anna R. Osbon, 72 of Columbus quietly passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA with Rev. Jerry Speers officiating. A Private interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 till 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Osbon was born August 25, 1938 in Montgomery County, TN daughter of the late O. B. Fain and Obie E. Breeden Fain. She was retired from Swift Textiles and was a member of Northside Baptist Church.
She is survived by her loving husband Bobby R. Osbon, Sr. of Columbus, GA; children, Debra Sherman (Ricky) of Elberton, GA, Shelia Adams (Mark) of Camp Hill, AL, James Lamb of Ladonia, AL, Cathy Youngblood (Sammy) of Fayetteville, NC, Bobby Osbon (Zena) of Columbus, GA, Julia Alford (Richard) of Columbus, GA and Denis Osbon (Elizabeth) of Clearwater FL; 2 brothers and 2 sisters; 20 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and many family and friends.
Flowers will be accepted but those who wish may make memorial contributions to Northside Baptist Church Vision Fund, 959 54th St. Columbus, GA 31904.
