Anna Green Morris Mullin, 77, Columbus, GA, died Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Graveside Services will be held 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Riverdale Cemetery with Dr. P. Shane Green officiating according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Mullin was born January 15, 1937 in Dothan, AL daughter of the late A. A. Morris, SR and Bertha Green Morris. She graduated from Huntingtdon College, and she was a school teacher in Montogomery, AL before marrying and moving to Columbus, GA.
She loved her church, St. Paul United Methodist Church in Columbus. She taught first grade at Brookstone for several years, and she was most joyful around her sons and six grandchildren. She also greatly enjoyed participating in Bible Study and in the various lunch groups with her friends. The family extends its thanks to her close friends who expressed their concerns over the past couple of years as her health declined.
Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Andrew S. Mullin, Sr. of Columbus, GA; sons, Andrew Shepard Mullin, Jr., C. Morris Mullin (Beth), and Bert Mullin (Rainer) all of Columbus, GA; and 6 grandchildren, Lawton Mullin, Lee and Avery Mullin, Wynn and twins Henry and Mary Stewart Mullin.
