Anita Saxon, 71, of Cataula, GA died Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her residence.
A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Thursday, May 20, 2021 in the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Chaplain Muriel Pitts officiating.
Anita was born November 15, 1949 in Waltham, MA to the late James Zack McCreary and Rachel Casey McCreary.
She is survived by her husband, R.A. Saxon, son, Shannon Saxon , daughter, Amy Grooms, son-in-law, Craig Grooms, grandchildren, Karen Saxon, Olivia Barhorst, Joshua Grooms, Johnathan Grooms, cousins, Sandra Golden, Myra Tidwell, nephew, James Thompson, niece, Lisa Tab Cowart, brother-in-law, Joseph Saxon, Geraldine Saxon, and sister-in-law, Sallie Eldridge.
