Andrew “Drew” Martin Porter, 55, of Midland, GA, died Thursday, March 30, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.
Memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Striplin Terrace UMC with Derick Porter and Rodney Porter officiating, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Drew was born January 26, 1968, in Athens, Georgia to Freeman Porter and Brenda Porter. He worked at TSYS/Global Payments as the Lead Mainframe Database Administrator. He was devoted to his family and kids. He was a big sports fan including the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs. Drew loved Jimmy Buffet and most of all, the beach.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey Anderson Porter of Midland, GA, children, Andie of Columbus, GA Chandler of Columbus, GA, Rick of Columbus, GA, Carson of Columbus, GA, Canyon of Midland, GA, siblings, Jimmy (Julia) of Lagrange, GA, Rodney (Kim) of Columbus, GA, Derek (Jennifer) of Smyrna, GA, Heath (Jeanie) of Thomaston, GA.
