Andrew "Drew"Douglas Pope, 28, of Columbus, GA died Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM Saturday, February 27, 2010 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend David Dollar officiating. The family will receive friends after the service according to the funeral home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Pope was born June 24, 1981 in Columbus, GA son of Richard and Cindy Drew Pope of Columbus, GA.
Other than his parents, survivors include his wife, Brittni Powell Pope of Columbus, GA, sister, Melissa Pope Ledford (Michael) of Midland, GA, mother and father-in-law, Lamar and Sandra Powell of Columbus, GA, brother-in-law, Justin Powell of Columbus, GA, nieces, Kayla Guth, Gracie Ledford and Camryn Powell all of Columbus, GA, and maternal grandmother, Faye Drew of Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation 6931 Arlington Rd. 2nd floor Bethesda, MD 20814.
