Andrea J. Gunter, 49, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, December 5, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 10, 2021 in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory with Rev. Gunter officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be at Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery.
Andrea was born May 2, 1972 in Ft. Huachuca, FL to Jurgen and Linda Koch. She worked as a registrar at Ft. Benning School System. She enjoyed cooking, and loved her school family and her personal family.
She is survived by her husband, Christopher Gunter of Columbus, GA, parents, Jurgen and Linda Koch OF Hampton, VA, children, Rebecca Gunter of Columbus, GA, Aaron Gunter of Columbus, GA, siblings, Larry Koch (Mindy) of Albuquerque, NM, Christine McKinney (Mike) of New Port News, VA, Robert Koch of New Port News, VA, Anthony Koch (Reene) of Gloucester, VA, numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
