Aleyiah Skye Donald, 19, of Columbus, GA died Friday, September 9, 2022.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM  Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at Fairview Baptist Church, 2913 Reese Rd, Columbus, GA 31907 with Elder John Hoskins of Cantonment, FL officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Monday, September 19, 2022 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd, Columbus, GA 31907. An internment will be held at Green Acres Cemetery, 1485 Schatulga Rd, Columbus, GA 31907.

Aleyiah was born October 4, 2002 in Columbus, GA to India and CJ Donald. She was a Christian and was baptized early in life. She was a 2020 graduate of Shaw High School and took courses at Columbus State University.

Aleyiah was our grinning, talkative, fun loving girl. She never met a stranger. Even as a young child she would start conversations and would laugh and smile with people. She was our Baby Girl, our Leyi-Leyi. She was always being her authentic self and loved to have her hair, makeup, nails and lashes done. Aleyiah loved watching Netflix, going out to eat, traveling, and having fun with her cousins and friends. She wanted to be a criminal defense attorney. She was a great photographer and loved taking pictures of sunsets and flowers. She said the best news she ever received was that she was going to be an Auntie.

Aleyiah leaves to cherish her memories: her parents, India Donald and CJ Donald; her siblings, Austin Dawson and Knyishia Donald (Deionte Corprew); her nephew and niece, Jaxson and Nova Corprew; her Grandparents, Council and Deborah Donald; Stormy Dawn West; Steve Dawson; and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Aleyiah loved all of her friends and family and told us often. Her kind spirit and energy will be remembered fondly.
