Alexander “Alex” Charles Mollett Van Bibber of Columbus, GA, died Monday, April 25, 2022, at Emory University Hospital.
A Visitation to celebrate Alex’s life will be held from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Marriott Columbus Hotel, 800 Front Ave. Columbus, GA 31901, in the Muscogee Room according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA.
Alex was born October 10, 1993,in Columbus, Georgia to Eric Van Bibber and Melissa “Misty” Mollett Van Bibber. He had worked as a Pharmacy Technician for Publix for ten years and was working for Amazon in shipping and receiving. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, poetry, and was a jokester. Alex was also involved with JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation).
Alex is survived by his parents, Eric and Misty Van Bibber, of Columbus, GA, half-brother, Michael Van Bibber (Amber), Libby Van Bibber (niece) and Davis Van Bibber(nephew), of Columbus, GA, maternal grandparents, John and Brenda Mollett of Columbus, GA, paternal grandmother, Mavis Van Bibber of Warner Robins, GA, step paternal grandfather, Richard Burkholder of Scottsdale, PA, Aunt, Susie Mollett Lee (Ray), cousins, Melissa Mollett, John Boy Lee, Shy Mollett, godparents, Mark and Paula Carter of Columbus, GA, loved child, Georgia Rae Miller of Smith Station, AL, and numerous other family and friends.
