Alejandro Adame, 74, of Columbus, GA died January 20, 2020 at Columbus Hospice House. A Funeral Mass will be held 11:30 AM Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2000 Kay Circle, Columbus, GA 31907. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday, January 23, 2020 at McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mr. Adame was born February 21, 1945 in Sinton, TX to the late Ricardo and Mercedes Zemora Adames. He worked as a Quality Manager at Pratt & Whitney.
All those who knew him, loved him. He was kind, encouraging and always willing to go out of the way for his family and friends. He loved his work; it was more than a job it was his career and a large part of his identity. It allowed him to travel the world and experience different cultures while making a difference in the lives that he touched. His wife, children and grandchildren adored him. He enjoyed seeing his family together and seeing them make family a priority. He had a love of football especially the Cowboys & Longhorns and enjoyed playing golf. He taught us all to love those around us, to be humble and faithful and above all be nice.
Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Mia Adame and his siblings.
Survivors include his wife, Cruz Adame of Columbus, GA; children, Anthony Adame (Angela) of Atlanta, GA, Sandra Daniel (Brett) of Columbus, GA, Angela Adame (Lisa) of Orlando, FL, Joseph Adame (Paula) of Columbus, GA; grandchildren, Kori Murphy (Emily) of Columbus, GA, Kaitlin Smith of Boynton Beach, FL, Gavin Adame of Columbus, GA, Zoe Adame of Arizona, Anna Adame of Arizona, Ari Adame of Arizona, Jackson Adame of Columbus, GA, Kendall Blanchard (Allen) of El Paso, TX, Maddie Daniel of Columbus, GA, Conner Daniel of Columbus, GA; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
