Albert Lamar Devlin 83 of Columbus died Monday December 06, 2010 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 08, 2010 at Wynnbrook Baptist Church
with Dr. Geoff Hammond and Dr. Kevin Calhoun officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Mr. Devlin was born August 13, 1926 in Phenix City, Al. son of the late Albert P. and Verna Pauline Florence Devlin. He was a graduate of Central High School and a U.S. Navy Veteran later becoming a Contract Administrator
for Pasco Steel Company and later retired from Adel Steel Company in Adel, Ga.
Mr. Devlin was a member of Wynnbrook Baptist Church were he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the Assimilation Team.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years Alice Davenport Devlin of Columbus, Ga. and a daughter Pam G. Devlin of Savannah, Ga.
