Adam Scott Hursey, 59, of Richland, GA died Monday, August 2, 2021 at Piedmont Midtown.
A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Robert Smith officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church, according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Adam was born December 5, 1961 in Columbus, GA to Catherine Hursey Self and the late William "Bill" Hursey. He was a self-employed brick mason. He loved to hunt deer and spend time with his family especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Hursey Self of Columbus, GA, wife of 38 years, Virginia Smith Hursey of Richland, GA, sons; Bradley “Brad” Hursey (Laura) of Cataula, GA, Bryan Hursey (Jessica) of Cataula, GA, grandchildren, Landon Scott Hursey, Wyatt Adam Hursey and John Luke Hursey.
