Vivian Halstead Miller, 77, of Phenix City, AL, died Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, November 22, 2014 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907 with Dr. Ray Cummings officiating. Interment will be held in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miller was born March 24, 1937 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late O'Neil Senn and Cleo Sawyer Carter. She was a homemaker and member of Assembly of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husbands, James Ruedon Halstead, Sr. and Shelley Gerald Miller. In addition to her husbands, Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her son Rev. Jerry Halstead.
Survivors include two sons; Jeff Halstead, Sr. (Darlene) of Phenix City, Al., James R. Halstead, Jr. (Bettie Jo) of Salem, Al., one sister Jeaette Harvey of Columbus, Ga., three grandchildren April Hocutt (Will), Tiffany Hughey (Jonathan) and Jeff Halstead, Jr. (Ashleigh), five great grandchildren, Liam, Elah, Ally, Mallie and Ensleigh.
Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to Gentiva Hospice 100 Brookstone Centre Pkwy. Columbus, Georgia 31904 in memory of Rev. Jerry Halstead.
