Veronika Caskey, 87, of Midland, GA died Thursday, November 15, 2018 at Columbus Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Sunday, November 18, 2018 at the Chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. A private interment will be held at Ft. Benning Main Post Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Caskey was born February 8, 1931 in Eibelstadt, Germany daughter of the late Karl Forstner and Babette Schenk Forstner. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Anne Catholic Church. She loved her dogs, family and friends, and she also loved to cook.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Caskey, Sr.
Survivors include her daughters, Elaine Jackson of Pompano Beach, FL, Janet Roberts (Paul) of Atoka, TN and Carol Olive (Dan) of Buena Vista, GA, son, Chuck Caskey (Dee) of Fortson, GA, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
