Tanner Ryan "Bear" Wafler, 20, of Hoschton, Ga. died Thursday, September 19, 2013 at his residence.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday September 23, 2013 at First Assembly of God Church 3777 Hwy. 431 N. Phenix City, Al. with Pastor James Allen officiating. The family will receive friends following the services at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus.
Bear was born August 19, 1993 in Virginia Beach, Va. son of Mark Wafler (Tammy) of Farmington, MO. and Lorie-Lynn Clayton (Mike) of Hoschton, Ga. he was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Phenix City, Al. and was a die- hard Alabama fan.
Bear was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather John Martin and paternal grandparents John and Lillian Wafler.
Survivors other than his parents include two brothers; Trevor Wafler of Hoschton, Ga., and Matthew Cope of Virginia Beach, Va., one sister; Maggie-Beth Cope of Auburn, Al., maternal grandmother; Brinda Stadler (Robert) of Phenix City, Al., paternal grandparents; Herbert and Carol Hoffman of Crivitz, WI. several aunts, uncles, cousins and a special friend Larry Bear.
