Ray V. Allen, 79, of Bay Minette, AL passed away on January 5, 2022 in Phenix City, AL
A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Parkhill Cemetery, Columbus, Georgia. The family will receive friends Monday, January 10, 2022, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Ray was born October 19, 1942 in Phenix City, AL to the late J. C. Allen and Ruby Cargile Allen. He retired from Golden Foundry after 19 years of employment and worked at Magnolia Beach RV Park, Panama City Beach, FL for many years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Louise Sutton; brothers Willie, and Charles; sisters, Dorothy, Ann, Louise and Francis, brother-in-law, Ronnie; sister-in-law, Linda and daughter, Connie.
Ray is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Patricia Allen; children Ray Allen, Terry Allen, Melissa Allen, Pam Fair, Carmen Arrington, Randall Allen, Tommy Owens, Cathy Owens and Terry Owens; brothers, J. C. and Arthur; sisters-in-law, Judy (Bobby), Janet and Rosemary (Wayne) and brothers-in-law, Weyman and Jimmy; niece Carol Baker; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
