Nell C. Cotner, 79 of Columbus, GA died Friday, September 6, 2013 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Shorey officiating. A private interment will be held in Ft. Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, GA.
Mrs. Cotner was born March 29, 1934 in Waynesboro, GA daughter of the late Ernest L. Cogburn and Alverine Odum Cogburn. She was a desk clerk at the Holiday Inn and then was a hostess at the Triangle Restaurant. She later became a homemaker were she loved to cook and do yard work.
Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph A. Cotner and son, Michael Cotner.
Survivors include her daughters, Carlis Irvin and Glynis Vollentine both of Columbus, GA; three grandchildren and her loving dog Winston.
