Jeffery L. Myers, 52, of Columbus, GA died Sunday, December 8, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00P.M. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 First Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901 with Father Timothy Graham officiating, according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus, G 31907.
Mr. Myers was born March 1, 1961 in Columbus, GA son of the late Leon Austin Myers and Dorothy Sorrels Myers of Columbus, GA. He was a retired police officer for the Columbus Police Department and a member of Trinity Episcopal Church.
Survivors other than his mother, include his wife Margie Myers ; daughter, Elizabeth Myers; son, Jeffery Jonathon Myers (Emily) all of Columbus, GA; step-daughter, Nicole Huckaby of LaGrange, GA; sister, Mona Healy (Chuck) of St. Louis, MO; brother, Mike Myers (Jan) of Dallas, TX and two grandchildren, Lillian and William Myers of Columbus, GA.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the St. Francis Fund at Trinity Episcopal Church, 1130 First Avenue, Columbus, GA 31901.
