Dr. Zenaida Mipalar Sambitan

Dr. Zenaida Mipalar Sambitan,77, of Midland, GA, passed away on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at her residence.
A Funeral Mass will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023 at St. Anne Catholic Church Father Scott Winchel officiating. A rosary will be held at 10:30 AM at the church. The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2023 with a rosary starting at 6:00 PM in the chapel of McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the funeral mass.
Born in 1945, she received her Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines, and worked in a variety of fields, before retiring as a property manager. She loved gardening, playing the piano, giving gifts, spending time with family and traveling the world.
She is remembered most for being a wonderful wife, mother, and lola (grandmother). Zenaida is survived by her husband Dr Rolando Sambitan, children, Lani (Benjamin) Harrell, Andy (Anna) Sambitan, and Doni Sambitan, and grandchildren Mia Harrell, Kaya Harrell, Ayden Sambitan, and Alyse Sambitan. She was predeceased by her parents Urbana and Fausto Mipalar, and her siblings, Estanislao Mipalar, Santiago Mipalar, and Zoila Nicolas.
