Christine J. Jones, 65, of Midland, GA died Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at Piedmont Midtown.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Monday, January 10, 2022 at St. Mark United Methodist Church with Rev. Rick Mitchell and Rev. Andy Ginn officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory, 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907. Interment will be held at Parkhill Cemetery following the service.

Christine was born November 5, 1956 in Americus, GA to the late Horace Johnson and Ruth Johnson. She retired from Suntrust/ Truist with 37 years, as an Assistant Vice President and Commercial Client Specialist. She enjoyed singing, playing the piano, listening to music, working in the yard, cooking and watching her kids and grandkids play sports. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and going to St. Mark United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Robert Jones of Midland, GA, children, Lee Aycock of Hamilton, GA, Carrie McKinstry (Cory) of Columbus, GA, Trey Jones (Branigan) of Midland, GA, sister, Marti Arrington of Americus, GA, brother, Al Johnson (Susan) of Americus, GA, grandchildren, Sophie Aycock, Caiden McKinstry, Caylie McKinstry, Rayleigh Jones and Brayden Jones.

Flowers will be accepted, those so desiring may make contributions to St. Mark United Methodist Church at 6795 Whitesville Rd, Columbus, GA 31904.
