Bonnie Kay Johnston, 68, of Phenix City, AL died Monday, October 10, 2016 at Midtown Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Hatchechubbee Church of Christ 723 Highway 26 Hatchechubbee, AL 36858 with Minister Jessie Powell officiating. Interment will be held at Hatchechubbee Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church according to McMullen Funeral Home and Crematory 3874 Gentian Blvd. Columbus, GA 31907.
Mrs. Johnston was born November 25, 1947 in Phenix City, AL daughter of the late George Bonner McMullan and Thelma Earline Howard McMullan. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Hatchechubbee Church of Christ.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary E. McMullan Brooks.
Survivors include her husband, Richard "Dick" Johnston of Phenix City, AL, sister-in-law, June Streetman (Mason) and brother-in-law, James Brooks.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Agape P.O. Box 1541 Enterprise, AL 36331 or to Camp Wiregrass P.O. Box 311072 Enterprise, AL 36331.
